What we build

Pipe-rail fencing

Posts and horizontal rails made from pipe. It's open, so you can see across the property, and it's common along pastures, property frontages and driveways.

Woven-wire field fencing

Mesh fencing for horse and livestock properties. The woven mesh closes the gaps that open rails leave.

We build fencing for livestock and horses.

Planning a fence for acreage

  • Which animals?

Horses, cattle and smaller livestock call for different fencing. Open rails alone won't keep small animals in.

  • Where do they need to go?

Think about pastures, water and the areas animals should stay out of.

  • Where do you need access?

Plan gates for vehicles, trailers and equipment, plus walk-through gates.

  • What's the ground like?

Low spots and areas that hold water affect where the fence line runs.

How local weather affects ranch fencing

In general, Fulshear and Katy ranch fencing deals with heavy rain, storms and long, hot summers.

Soaked ground:
After heavy rain, posts in wet, soft soil can loosen or lean, and low areas can stay wet.
Storms:
Falling limbs and trees can bend rails and flatten mesh. Debris carried by high water can catch in mesh.
Humidity and rain:
Steel pipe can rust where its finish is worn or scratched.
Animals:
Horses and livestock lean, rub and push on fencing, which loosens posts and stretches mesh over time.

Signs your ranch fence needs attention

  • Leaning or loose posts
  • Bent or damaged rails
  • Mesh that sags, has stretched or has pulled loose from posts
  • Torn mesh or gaps at the bottom of the fence
  • Rust on pipe posts or rails
  • A gate that sags or drags

New, replacement and repair

We install new pipe, ranch and farm fence, replace old fence and repair what's worth saving.

As a general rule, a few leaning posts or a damaged section are often a repair. Rust or damage along much of the fence line can point toward replacement. We also do emergency fence repairs after storms, once the ground is dry enough to work.

Gates for acreage

We build pipe gates and driveway gates, and install automatic gates with swing or sliding openers. See gates →
